Books On Books: The Clothing of Books by Jhumpa Lahiri

Recently one of my archived E-books had a cover change. I was really disappointed!! I loved the previous cover of the book. I didn't know that could happen with e-books.

So much of what I love about books usually has to do with the covers. Especially books I don't know anything about.

In The Clothing of Books we learn about the process of cover development from a writers point of view. It suprised me to learn that author's don't have full carte blanche when it comes to their covers.

Lahiri also shares her insight in how covers of books differ from country to country. Lahiri has a passion for books and covers that readers can really relate to.

A really nice essay.
